Norway Labs is a Woman-Owned Business

As a consumer, I always look for the highest quality, the greatest value products and services, with the best support that I can afford.  As a small business owner I believe in providing the same thing for our customers. The reason that Norway Labs has continued to grow, the reason we have been in business for 10 years, is because of these values.  Our success has come from investing in the tools, the people and the training, fueled with our passion for what we do.   These values will always be our competitive advantage.  So announcing that Norway Labs has been officially registered as a small, woman-owned business doesn’t seem very newsworthy.

What does this change mean for Norway Labs?  Doilies in all of our shipping?  Scented invoices?  No.  For Norway Labs, it’s business as usual.  So then, I can hear you ask, why did you do it?

For our government customers and the large primes we are proud to serve, we hope this move is another in a series that helps make doing business with Norway Labs just that much easier.

Norway Labs is proud to continue its 10-year tradition of quality, value and great customer service.  Please let us know what we can do for you to make working with us easier.

Suzanne Says:

In the Test & Measurement world, budget tightening has been a common theme that doesn’t seem to go away. We hear it from our customers daily that their budgets have been reduced or frozen, or that their capital dollars have dried up. Whether we like it or not this is the new reality that will be with us for the foreseeable future.

It seems our customers are figuring out some go-arounds. Whether it be buying used or extending the useful life of their equipment by using a repair facility, lab managers are being financially creative. And in the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing what we see here from our end of the market. Until then, to your financial success,

Test & Measurement Finance: Budget Tightening Again? Still?

In the Test & Measurement world, budget tightening has been a common theme that doesn’t seem to go away.  We hear it from our customers daily that their budgets have been reduced or frozen, or that their capital dollars have dried up.

It spans over industries from aerospace to military & defense, on over to energy & utilities, and back to electronics. It can be exhausting.  Whether we like it or not (read: nightmares about your boss knotting the noose), the pressure to keep at or below budget is a constant pressure that most likely will be our reality for some time.

It seems our customers are figuring out some go-arounds.  Whether it be buying used or extending the useful life of their equipment by using a repair facility, lab managers are being financially creative.  And in the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing what we see here from our end of the market.  Until then,

Here’s to your financial success.

Celebrating our 10th year in business!

2013 marks a very special year for Norway Labs as we celebrate our 10th anniversary in business. Thank you to our over 500 customers that have kept us growing every year! You are the lifeblood of our company and why we love doing what we do.

Last year we added 3 new employees and repaired almost 900 instruments. We've doubled in size in just the past 4 years and if we keep up this pace we will need to look for even more lab space by the end of the year.

For 2013 we have lowered the repair prices on our highest running products as a way to say “thank you” for your business. We have also increased our NIST calibration capabilities to 25GHz for oscilloscopes.

Our experience, expertise and state of the art equipment has allowed us to offer fixed prices on many of the instruments that we service including the highest performing oscilloscopes. We offer no cost, no risk evaluations and a 90-day warranty on all of our work.

Compare our prices. Compare our warranty. Compare our quality. Compare our customer service and you'll see why over 500 customers have trusted Norway Labs for their T&M repairs.

Nancy's Notes

I could have never imagined that the little business that Matt and I started in our basement repairing electronic equipment would still be going after 10 years. Moreover, that this business would continue to grow out of our basement and into >5,000 sq. feet of office space and employ over 15 people. We finished our best year ever and I'm excited what the next 10 years will bring!  Happy New Year from our "family" to yours!
